Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Technician 2 in Metrology to support wafer fabrication in a cleanroom.

You will maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize metrology equipment to ensure high tool availability and reliable measurements, contributing to continuous improvement and data-driven decisions. The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent, 2+ years of equipment maintenance experience, and familiarity with KLA Surfscan, F5X, P170, and FRT; TXRF/SPV experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years maintaining semiconductor processing equipment.
• Experience with KLA Surfscan, KLA F5X, KLA P170, and FRT preferred.
• TXRF and SPV experience a plus.
• Strong skills with electronic, pneumatic, robotic, and vacuum systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleanroom protocols and safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout.
• Monitor equipment performance trends and respond accordingly.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and diagnostic maintenance with root-cause focus.
• Use SPC methods to evaluate tool health and deviations.
• Document maintenance actions and updates clearly.
