Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an Equipment Engineer to join a vibrant, team-oriented environment. You will oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment to support TI's production lines.

You will stay current on equipment manufacturers' notices and safety issues while striving to improve uptime and performance, provide technical support, and help select cost-effective equipment for TI's fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
  • Keeping current on manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues
  • Studying and improving equipment performance and reliability
  • Establishing programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process
  • Providing technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations
  • Evaluating, selecting, and ordering equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products
  • Defining and writing preventative maintenance schedules
