Job summary

Texas Instruments in Dallas is seeking an Equipment Engineer to drive manufacturing excellence. You will evaluate, install, upgrade and maintain equipment to support TI's product lines and uptime goals.

This role requires staying current with equipment notices and safety issues, analyzing performance, and providing technical support to repair and process teams to keep production moving smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select, and order equipment for cost-effective manufacturing.
• Oversee installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of equipment.
• Stay current on manufacturers' notices, upgrades and safety issues.
• Study equipment performance and reliability.
• Establish programs to increase uptime and resolve equipment problems.
• Provide technical support to repair and process engineering teams.
• Define and write preventative maintenance schedules.

• Establishing programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process
• Providing technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations
• Defining and writing preventative maintenance schedules
