Job summary

A staffing solutions company is seeking a Metrology Engineer in Florence, KY. In this role, you will develop and maintain metrological standards and oversee calibration of inspection and measurement equipment. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years of experience. Benefits include health insurance and a 401(k). This position offers a direct-hire opportunity with a Monday to Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive experience in a Metrology Engineer role.
• 2–3+ years of experience coordinating IMT equipment calibration and management.
• Master’s degree in Metrology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement advanced measurement techniques and systems.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams for integration of metrology considerations.
• Conduct Gauge R&R studies to assess measurement system accuracy.

Skills

Proficiency with metrology instruments

Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Expertise in Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA)

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Metrology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
