Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space invites a Metrology Associate Manager to Kings Bay, GA, supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program. You will lead daily calibration/production efforts, guide subordinates, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to reach shared goals.

You will shape calibration methods, develop metrics, manage training and performance, and ensure compliance with NAVSEA/ISO 17025 standards while delivering high-quality measurement services and cost-effective results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related discipline.
• Experience managing calibration facility certified to NAVSEA / ISO/IEC 17025.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• 5+ years leadership experience with medium to large teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subordinate training, performance assessment, work assignment, and recognition actions.
• Manage production, develop metrics, and lead process improvement efforts.
• Resolve calibration lab issues with internal/external stakeholders.
