Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions seeks a Method Transfer and Validation Scientist - Group Leader to lead method qualification, validation, and transfer activities in a GMP laboratory setting in Sanford, NC.

The role requires a BS in Chemistry or related field with at least 4 years of lab experience, plus expertise in proteins, carbohydrates, HPLC, and Empower 3. Leadership experience is preferred and US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or similar field with a minimum of 4 years of experience working in a laboratory environment.
• Experience working with proteins or carbohydrates.
• Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) environment.
• Experience working with analytical standards, reagents, and laboratory instruments.
• HPLC and Empower 3 experience.
• Familiarity with USP, EU guidelines.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external partners to execute method qualification, validation protocols, and transfer documentation.
• Perform data analysis, protocol/report generation, and troubleshooting analytical techniques such as HPLC, CE, and ELISA.
• Act as a technical resource, trainer, and troubleshooter for the department.
• Coach and develop direct reports; plan and monitor workflows.
• Monitor and approve employees’ time worked through time-entry system; support company policies and procedures.

Technical Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal and external partners to execute method qualification, validation protocols, and transfer documentation.


• Perform data analysis, protocol/report generation, and troubleshooting analytical techniques such as HPLC, CE, and ELISA.

Leadership Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical resource, trainer, and troubleshooter for the department


• Make recommendations for operational and/or technical improvements


• Communicate effectively within the group


• Coach and develop direct reports


• Plan and monitor workflows


• Monitor and approve employees’ time worked through time-entry system


• Support and promote company policies and procedures

The site is not accessible by public transportation routes/options.

• BS in Chemistry or similar field with a minimum of 4 years of experience working in a laboratory environment


• Experience working with proteins or carbohydrates


• Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices {also cGMP} environment


• Experience working with analytical standards, reagents, and laboratory instruments


• HPLC and Empower 3 Experience


• Familiarity with USP, EU guidelines


• Previous leadership experience preferred


• Effective oral and written communication


• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions or sponsorship

Position is full-time,Monday-Friday, generally 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., weekend work might be expected.Candidates currently living within a commutable distance ofSanford, NCare encouraged to apply.
