Job summary

Texas-New Mexico Power (TNMP) is seeking an Asset Management Specialist to support metering asset accuracy and reliability, focusing on EPS metering within Cascade and serving as the WattNet SME. You will ensure data integrity, governance, and seamless integrations with adjacent systems.

The role requires deep experience with EAM/CMMS, Cascade and WattNet configurations, and collaboration with Engineering, Field Operations, IT Services, and vendors to meet regulatory and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, engineering, computer science, business or related field; 7–9 years of related experience.
• Experience configuring, supporting, or maintaining EAM/CMMS or meter asset management systems; Cascade and WattNet preferred.
• Experience with utility metering asset data, engineering docs, maintenance programs, or field operations data.
• Knowledge of configuration concepts: configuration control, security roles, data imports, environment management.
• Ability to interpret engineering docs and translate requirements into system configuration.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Cascade EPS metering setup including asset structures, locations, stations, records, and maintenance workflows.
• Serve as business-side owner for EPS metering configuration standards and data structure governance in Cascade and WattNet.
• Evaluate and prioritize configuration requests to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Field Operations, IT Services and vendors to support system validation and deployments.
• Provide training and documentation on Cascade and WattNet usage and processes.
