Meter Technician
$19.79/hour; 40 hours/week
Closing Date: Until Filled

• High school diploma or GED, with one (1) year of experience in residential and commercial water meter installation, testing, and repair preferred
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license

The Meter Technician performs installations, renewal, and repairs to all sizes of water services. Work also includes, but is not limited to, maintenance and repairs of water meters and bench and field test meters. The Meter Technician also replaces meter boxes and vaults, as well as valve box adjustments, and miscellaneous preventive maintenance procedures.
