Hawaiian Electric Companies is seeking a PROFESSIONAL SUPERVISOR to lead the Substation & Meter Division in Kahului, Maui. The role oversees revenue meter operations, directs field teams, and ensures safety and compliance with metering standards.

The position requires a BS in Electrical Engineering or related experience, supervisory training, and strong communication skills. It involves on-site field work, budget planning, and collaboration with contractors and customers.

Formación

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of metering operations and codes
• Apprenticeship or equivalent experience in supervision
• Experience with supervisory training or courses

Responsabilidades

• Supervises meters testing, installation and removal on the system
• Prepare performance appraisals and conduct interviews
• Be available for emergencies after hours
• Provide training and guidance to subordinates
• Serve as field contact for metering and compliance
• Assist contractors and customers with metering issues
• Maintain meter record system and manage inventory
• Develop and manage the section budget forecast
