Job summary

Garland is seeking a Meter Equipment Technician to investigate and replace malfunctioning electric and water meters. You will install new ERT meters and assist with residential and commercial readings and maintenance.

The role requires reading experience, a Class C Texas driver’s license, and a Class D Water License (or ability to obtain within six months). On-site outdoor work with exposure to environmental conditions is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years experience reading electric and water meters.
• Class D Water License required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Equivalent education/experience considered.

Responsibilities

Also, responsible for the installation of new electric and water Electronic Receiver/Transmitter (ERT) meters. Pay Range: $18.48 - $23.66 (Depending on qualifications and skills) **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** *include the following.
