You will analyze data, create graphics, and collaborate with the news team for on-air weather presentations, while meeting daily production deadlines and upholding our standards of accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in meteorology required.
• Prior experience as a broadcast meteorologist preferred.
• Strong on-air communication skills are essential.
• Proficient in using social media platforms for weather content.

Responsibilities

• Analyze weather data and prepare detailed forecasts.
• Prepare graphics to support the weather presentation.
• Flexibility for severe weather & winter weather coverage.
• Collaborate with news management on presentation style and editorial content for on-air weather segments.
• Develop and report weather-related stories and participate in newscasts.
