Job summary

PMX Industries, a leading copper and copper alloy supplier, is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, implement, and improve metallurgical and manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, operations, and maintenance to drive continuous improvement across heat treatment, forming, casting, or welding.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 3–5 years of process engineering experience in metals manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Metallurgical/Materials/Chemical) and related field.
  • 3–5 years of process engineering experience in metals manufacturing or rolling mill environments.
  • Proficient in statistical methods and data analysis for problem solving.
  • Familiar with lab testing equipment and PC software.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety rules and policies.
  • Perform process capability studies and provide technical support.
  • Develop new products/processes through trials.
  • Review coil performance and metallurgical properties.
  • Maintain databases, evaluate data, and report results.
  • Initiate and monitor process improvement efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
