Job summary

Eurofins Environmental Testing is seeking an Associate Chemist for Metals Prep on the 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm, Tue-Sat; training on 1st shift). You will prepare environmental samples and analyze them using GC/MS and other instruments, adhering to SOPs and QA/QC standards.

The role requires a chemistry degree or equivalent experience, English proficiency, and ability to work in the United States. Benefits include full-time health coverage and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or related field, Associate Degree, or 2 years of related lab experience.
• Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques
• Perform chemical analysis using standard techniques
• Record and report data and unusual test occurrences to supervisor
• Maintain routine instrument upkeep and QC samples
• Competency with complex instrumentation software (training provided)
• Follow QA/QC and safety procedures
