Job summary

Citi's Investment Banking team in Los Angeles seeks a Senior Analyst focused on Metals & Mining to advise clients on capital raises and strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. You will contribute to live deal execution and client strategy development within Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, capital markets, or a related financial advisory environment.
• FINRA Series 79 and Series 63 licenses.
• Demonstrated ability to build and interpret complex financial models for valuation and transaction analysis.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial analysis and recommendations to senior audiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on capital markets transactions and strategic initiatives as a core member of the Investment Banking team.
• Organize and analyze complex financial data to support proposals and strategic plans for senior stakeholders.
• Build and maintain sophisticated financial models used for valuation purposes across live deals and pitches.
• Prepare high-quality written recommendations, valuation materials, and statistical exhibits for both pitch presentations and active transactions.
• Conduct in-depth economic and financial research to support deal analysis and client strategy development.
• Evaluate the financial performance of companies against broader industry benchmarks and market trends to inform investment recommendations.
• Collaborate with senior Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory professionals, contributing analytical and executional support across client assignments.
