You will work with Sales and Trading to provide market intelligence and client coverage in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing skills, advanced Excel, and the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and

Qualifications

• FINRA licenses Series 86 and 87.
• Two to three years of equity research and/or investment banking experience.
• Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business communication skills with modelling, forecasting and valuation.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to multi-task and collaborate in a team or work independently.
• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail, with deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Passion for the markets and Metals & Mining sector.
• CFA charterholder or progress towards CFA (preferred).
• Some coding capabilities - VBA, Python (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Excel-based models to forecast financials and industry dynamics.
• Perform detailed valuation work to support stock recommendations.
• Analyze complex data sets, earnings releases, filings, and industry events.
• Write research notes and sector reports; prepare presentations.
• Build relationships and communicate with internal and external clients and management.
• Fulfill client requests in a timely and thorough manner.
• Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and generate ideas for differentiated research.
