Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD required in a related field with deep technical expertise.
• Experience with thin film deposition techniques (ALD, CVD, PVD).
• Knowledge of surface analysis methods (XPS, AFM, XRD, AES, EBSD, SIMS).
• Solid‑state physics and materials interfaces understanding; strong cross‑functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve assembly process issues using FA, FMEA, 8D, and SPC/FDC methods.
• Execute process, equipment, and material evaluations; implement improvements.
• Lead yield improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Qualify and scale new processes, tools, and materials for production.
• Manage supplier quality, audits, and risk mitigation activities.

As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing processes that directly impact product quality, yield, and cost. This role offers hands‑on involvement in solving sophisticated production challenges, introducing new technologies, and collaborating across engineering and supplier teams to drive measurable improvements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve assembly process issues using FA, FMEA, 8D, and SPC/FDC methodologies
• Execute process, equipment, and material evaluations; implement process step improvements
• Lead yield improvement and cost reduction initiatives
• Qualify and scale new processes, tools, and materials for production
• Manage supplier quality, audits, and risk mitigation activities

Minimum Qualifications

• PhD in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Experience with thin film deposition techniques such as ALD, CVD, or PVD
• Knowledge of surface analysis methods (XPS, AFM, XRD, AES, EBSD, SIMS)
• Understanding of solid‑state physics, materials, surfaces, and interfaces
• Proven ability to collaborate and communicate in cross‑functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of chemical kinetics applied to deposition processes
• Strong data analysis and statistical skills with large datasets
• Experience designing experiments and delivering clear technical reports
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects effectively
• Experience using AI-assisted analytics to enhance data interpretation, anomaly detection, and yield improvement initiatives
