Job summary

Capstone Copper seeks a Senior Metallurgist/Metallurgy Superintendent at Pinto Valley Mine to lead metallurgy, manage budgeting and provide strategic direction for Mill and SXEW processes. You will mentor staff, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and deliver timely technical reports.

The role requires a strong background in mineral processing, a Bachelor's in a related field, and 10+ years in metallurgy with leadership experience. Relocation support and robust benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Mineral Processing/Metallurgy/Engineering).
• 10+ years in metallurgy, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of mineral processing methods and regulations applicable to mines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety compliance per MSHA and site SOPs.
• Lead budgeting, planning, staffing and cost control for Metallurgy.
• Provide leadership, mentorship and performance reviews for team.
• Produce regular production/technical reports to monitor progress.
• Collaborate with Processing Manager on department strategy and budget.
