The role requires a Master’s or PhD in Metallurgy or Materials Science and strong report-writing skills, with a track record in fracture mechanics, corrosion, and high-temperature properties.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of phase transformations, alloy behavior, fracture mechanics and corrosion.
• Experience with SEM/EDS and microscopy for failure analysis.
• Proven ability to document and present complex technical data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Root Cause Analysis: examine fracture surfaces and microstructures to identify failure origins.
• Testing & Validation: perform destructive and non-destructive tests to replicate failures.
• Data Interpretation: analyze test results and micrographs to understand material behavior.
• Reporting & Communication: prepare detailed technical reports for engineering, quality, and management.
• Collaboration: work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
