Metallurgical Thermal Processing TechnicianA Day in the Role
You arrive to a clean, organized cell and review the day’s production plan and work instructions. Before a single part enters the furnace, you confirm all machine settings and critical process parameters. You run required start-up checks, document results according to approved quality procedures, and only then release the line for production. Throughout the shift, you monitor equipment performance and product condition, conduct in-process inspections, and make timely adjustments to keep every lot on spec. When orders are complete, you verify conformity, approve and release parts, package them to the defined instructions, and perform a safe, compliant shutdown.
