Job summary

Arconic is seeking a Metallurgical Engineer responsible for leading continuous improvement in process metallurgy at our Alcoa, TN location. The candidate will translate industry standards into effective process designs, troubleshoot and execute experiments, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Material Science or Metallurgy and 3 years of experience in high-quality aluminum manufacturing. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree and experience in rolling operations.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience as a Metallurgist in an aluminum manufacturing environment.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer and industry standards into a process design.
• Troubleshoot, design, and execute experiments.
• Provide input to improve uptime and equipment reliability.
