ThermTech - Heat Treating Specialists in Wisconsin seeks a Metallurgical Engineer to support laboratory operations, perform metallurgical evaluations, and document results. The candidate will work with the quality team to ensure accurate reporting and maintain lab safety and organization.

The role requires a metallurgy or materials engineering degree, plus preferred experience in a lab and heat treating. On-site duties include equipment maintenance and collaborative problem solving.

Qualifications

• College degree in metallurgy or materials engineering.
• Previous laboratory experience preferred.
• Heat treating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Metallurgical Engineer supports laboratory activities and reports.
• Create lab reports and maintain documentation.
• Cross-train with Lab leadership and manage lab workflow.
• Perform metallurgical evaluations to assess microstructure and case depth.
• Document results in Bluestreak/MML systems and archive samples.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment and ensure safety.
