United States Steel Corporation seeks a Plant Metallurgist to support the Product Development and Quality Department. You will uphold quality, safety and environmental systems, coordinate with operations, and manage metallurgy instructions for new grades and routings.
You will work with Product Development, Quality, and Sales on new grade development, prioritizing orders and expediting customer requests while ensuring MOC practices are followed.
The Plant Metallurgist ensures policies, procedures and all activities are carried out to support BRS goals and objectives at the Site level and in the Product Development and Quality Department as assigned.
