Lucideon is seeking a Metallographic Technician to join our laboratory team in Greenville, SC. You will prepare and evaluate material samples for microscopic examination, delivering high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented mindset essential for accurate sample prep and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and sectioning metal and material samples.
• Mounting, grinding, polishing and etching samples.
• Performing routine metallographic evaluations.
• Recording test data and observations accurately.
• Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.
• Supporting investigations and materials analysis projects.
• Maintaining laboratory quality, safety and housekeeping standards.
• Contributing to continuous improvement activities.

The Role

As a Metallographic Technician, you'll prepare and evaluate material samples for microscopic examination, ensuring high-quality results for customers and internal projects.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Preparing and sectioning metal and material samples
• Mounting, grinding, polishing and etching samples
• Performing routine metallographic evaluations
• Recording test data and observations accurately

What We're Looking For
