Job summary

Printpack, a leading manufacturer in Villa Rica, GA, seeks a Metallizer Operator for the 7:00 pm - 7:00 am shift. The role supports production on the Metallizer line, performs quality checks, and maintains safety and efficiency on the floor.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, experience with metallizing, and ability to read a tape measure. Forklift certification is preferred; drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of metallizing or related process.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform data entry.
• Ability to work nights and weekends and to pass drug screen, physical, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Metallizer to meet waste, safety, quality and production goals.
• Perform quality checks during the shift to ensure specifications are met.
• Understand the Vacuum System on the metallizer.
• Communicate shift issues related to waste, quality, safety, and production.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area meeting AIB requirements.
• Enter production data into PIMS and OPUS.
• Operate overhead crane and forklift as needed.
• Support process teams and assist on other equipment as required.
