Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift to drive setups, monitor metalizing and finishing equipment, and ensure product quality. You will work with gauges, speeds, and temperatures to meet process specs.

You will lift up to 50 lbs, operate a forklift, and participate in continuous improvement. A high school diploma or GED and manufacturing experience are preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role with stability and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience (3–5 years preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and basic computer skills (MFG Pro / ERP systems preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, earn a Forklift Certification, and work overtime as needed.
• Safety-first mindset, collaborative attitude, and a desire to cross-train and grow.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing in a similar production environment.
• Strong shipping/receiving system usage and understanding.
• Track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives.
• Project Management and Time Management skills.
• Track record of implementing Lean manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead setups and operation of metalizing and finishing machinery; monitor gauges, speeds, and temperatures.
• Perform routine product testing using precision tools; log production data; troubleshoot issues.
• Load raw materials, unload finished goods; operate lift trucks; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Partner with department to meet production goals; maintain a clean workspace; participate in improvements.
