Job summary

EMJ is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler 1 to support metal processing and distribution activities in the Plant. The role involves pulling, filling, cutting orders, inventory and shipping tasks, and basic equipment operation within a safety-focused warehouse.

Responsibilities include verifying material, reading orders, operating heavy equipment as needed, and maintaining an orderly work environment. The position requires 1–2 years of warehousing experience and a valid driver's license if

Qualifications

• Clear oral and written communication; legible handwriting.
• Manual dexterity, coordination, and physical fitness to operate heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and blueprints.
• Basic math and measurement skills, including fractions and conversions.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory or equipment, fill customer orders, pull material from racks, unload incoming material, load trucks and customer vehicles, and maintain the warehouse.
• Receive and return items into stock locations.
• Read and decipher work orders; verify heat numbers and material specifications.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, side loaders, yard trucks, saws, and other heavy equipment as required.
• Place materials into storage or remove them for order fulfillment.
