Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Chemical Laboratory Technician for its manufacturing and testing client in California. The role supports the Quality Assurance lab, performing tests and preparing samples and reports to ensure product integrity.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years in chemical processing labs, with ability to operate UV-Vis spectrophotometers and atomic absorption analyzers. Shift is 6am–2:30pm, pay range $18-$22 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in chemical processing laboratories.
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment such as UV-Vis Spectrophotometers and atomic absorption analyzers.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and proper handling of laboratory glassware and chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail, accountability, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create monthly lab orders for physical testing and prepare metal specimens for testing.
• Track both physical and analytical tests to ensure timely completion within required time frames.
• Perform a variety of tests including corrosion testing, paint adhesion, impact tests, and elemental analysis.
• Compile detailed test reports outlining procedures and results of internal tests.
• Maintain accurate records, review logs for correctness, and monitor process tank temperatures to ensure compliance with specifications.
