Job summary

The Entwistle Company is seeking an employee to perform manual shot blast operations in dedicated booths, with potential pressure washing and thermal spray work. You will remove mill scale and shape surfaces for coating processes while handling heavy parts with cranes or forklifts.

Applicants must read work orders, follow instructions, work safely in a loud environment, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. This role requires teamwork and physical endurance to thrive in our shop setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend work orders and instructions.
• Able to work in a physically demanding atmosphere and in a team.
• Ability to climb, squat and stand for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manually shot-blast metal parts to remove mill scale and create surface profile.
• Hang and manipulate heavy parts using cranes or forklifts; inspect as needed.
• Clean parts with hand tools or pressure washer as required.
• Coat parts via Thermal Spray (plasma arc or flame) per specification.
• Maintain Thermal Spray equipment; assist fabrication team; perform in-process inspections.
• Keep work area neat and adhere to safety policies.
