Job summary

Building Ventures in Raleigh, NC is seeking experienced metal stud carpenters for a pharmaceutical/industrial facility project. This hands-on role involves installing metal stud framing, track systems, and interior nonbearing partitions, reading drawings, and coordinating with other trades on a fast-paced site.

You will measure, cut, notch and fit to spec using hand and power tools, maintain safety standards, and contribute to on-time project progress.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with metal stud framing on commercial projects (interior nonbearing partitions and ceilings).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and layout plans.
• Strong measuring, cutting and fastening skills with hand and power tools.
• Familiar with general rough carpentry and construction methods & materials.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-spec commercial or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, align and secure metal stud and track framing systems for interior nonbearing partitions and ceilings.
• Read and follow layout drawings, shop drawings and construction directions; mark and transfer layout to field.
• Measure, cut, notch and fit studs and track to spec using hand and power tools.
• Install blocking, bracing and reinforcements as required for openings and MEP supports.
• Coordinate sequencing and work areas with other trades on an active pharmaceutical jobsite.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow site safety procedures and quality standards.
