Commercial Metals Company in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a capable general labor candidate to support production in a fast paced steel fabrication environment. You will operate production equipment, maintain clean work area, and contribute to safety programs.

This role requires physical endurance and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, including exposure to all weather conditions. Training provided; benefits available; opportunity for growth within a Fortune 500 company with a long legacy in metal

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Experience with metal sorting is a plus but not required.
• Frequent lifting of 25 lbs or more and manual handling.
• Stand for long periods in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean work area and equipment and follow safety rules.
• Operate production equipment according to procedures.
• Participate in safety programs and uphold safety culture.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
