Job summary

Commercial Metals is hiring for a production role where you will operate equipment, identify and sort metals, and maintain a clean, safe work area. You will be expected to follow all safety procedures and participate in our safety programs.

The ideal candidate can lift up to 50 lbs, works well in all weather conditions, and is eager to learn the steel-related processes at our facilities. Training is provided to support your growth at CMC.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
• Experience with metal sorting is a plus but not required.
• Must follow safety regulations and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Maintain work area and equipment in clean, orderly condition and follow safety regulations.
• Operate production equipment per established procedures and guidelines.
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold safety culture.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Identify and sort various metals.
