About Us

Reframe Systems is on a mission to build net-zero carbon housing for all, at massive scale. To achieve our mission, we need to make net-zero carbon housing more affordable and we are re-imagining how housing is designed and built. Our modular building platform and highly-automated production system will drive down cost, delivery time, and embodied carbon for ADUs and multifamily housing. We are setting up our first software driven factory in the greater Boston area (Andover, MA), and have a roadmap to scale our presence nationally. We are disrupting assembly line manufacturing for housing production and are backed by leading VC firms in the industrial and construction space.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a Metal Siding Expert/Carpenterto join our team and play a critical role across factory and field operations. Other siding materials used as well, but prioritizing metal experience. This unique position offers the opportunity to work both in a controlled factory environment and at project sites, ensuring the seamless installation and integration of modular housing systems. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong technical skills and a desire to grow their career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the installation of metal siding, wall panels, soffit, fascia, flashing, and envelope components.

  • Fabricate custom flashing and trims using a metal brake and related tools.

  • Interpret construction drawings and digital plans for precise installation.

  • Ensure proper weatherproofing and detailing at all transitions, openings, and penetrations.

  • Coordinate with project managers, production teams, and other trades on-site and in-factory.

  • Conduct quality checks on factory-built and field-installed systems.

  • Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards across job sites and shop environments.

  • Train and mentor junior team members to uphold quality and productivity standards.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues to maintain project timelines.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience installing metal siding and building envelope systems (commercial/industrial preferred).

  • Looking for someone who has lead at least 10 full-building installations start to finish.

  • Proficient in operating a metal brake and fabricating architectural trims.

  • Strong understanding of waterproofing, flashing details, and air barrier continuity.

  • Able to read and interpret construction drawings and manufacturer specifications.

  • Skilled in both factory and field installation environments.

  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

  • Experience with insulated metal panels, rainscreens, or standing seam systems is a plus.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.

  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and perform repetitive tasks.

Working Conditions
  • Roughly 50/50 split of time working from Andover, MA factory and various local jobsites

  • Physical tasks, including standing, lifting, and performing repetitive movements.

  • Some overtime or weekend work may be required based on production schedules.
