Job summary

CorTech International in Pico Rivera, CA is seeking dependable Metal Shop Helpers for our production team. This 2nd shift (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm) may require overtime and weekend work.

Responsibilities include grinding and sanding metal, measuring and cutting materials, and safely using hand and power tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates should be reliable, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and willing to cross-train as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Grind and sand metal surfaces to remove imperfections.
• Measure and cut materials accurately.
• Use hand and power tools safely.
• Work with Bondo and acetone as part of the fabrication process.
• Assist in various departments and cross-train as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
