We are seeking a skilled

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Metal Refinishing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with refinishing and restoring metal surfaces, including cleaning, polishing, and coating metal components used in both industrial and architectural settings. This position requires an eye for detail, technical skills, and the ability to work with various metal materials.

Responsibilities

• Metal Refinishing:
• Restore and refinish metal surfaces by polishing, buffing, sanding, and applying coatings to ensure a high-quality finish.
• Operate machinery and tools such as sanders, grinders, polishing machines, and other refinishing equipment to achieve the desired finish on metal parts.
• Assess the condition of metal surfaces to determine the best refinishing techniques and materials required for restoration.
• Clean and prep metal surfaces, ensuring all imperfections are removed before applying finishes.
• Surface Treatment & Coating:
• Apply protective coatings / paint finishes to metal surfaces to ensure durability and longevity, using products such as paints, powder coatings, or anodizing.
• Ensure all coatings and treatments are applied according to manufacturer specifications for optimal results.
• Quality Control & Safety:
• Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Troubleshoot issues with metal refinishing equipment and materials and perform routine maintenance as required.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in metal refinishing or related field (e.g., automotive refinishing, metal polishing, or industrial finishing).
• Familiarity with different metal materials, including steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and brass.
• Proficient in using refinishing tools such as grinders, polishers, and sanders.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to achieve smooth, consistent, and high-quality finishes.
• Knowledge of coatings and finishes, including paints, powder coatings, and protective treatments.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with safety protocols, including the proper handling of chemicals and refinishing equipment.
