Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling Inc is seeking a Recycling Specialist to identify, separate, and recover recyclable materials while ensuring safe and efficient operations. Your attention to detail helps keep valuable materials in circulation and reduces environmental impact.

You will sort recyclables, inspect for contaminants, and operate around conveyors, following safety protocols. Strong teamwork and reliable attendance are essential for success.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Sort recyclables from the stream (cardboard, paper, plastics, metals, glass).
Inspect materials and remove contaminants for high-quality products.
Operate around conveyors and equipment following safety procedures.
Keep work areas clean and safe, report hazards.
Monitor equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
Wear required PPE and promote a safety culture.
Follow company policies, regs, and procedures.
Support teammates and other operations as directed.
