Coastal Waste & Recycling Inc. is seeking a Recycling Specialist to identify, separate, and recover recyclable materials while keeping operations safe and efficient. You will work with a hands-on team to ensure high-quality recycling streams and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify recyclable materials.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Sort recyclable materials such as cardboard, paper, plastics, metals, and glass from the recycling stream.
• Inspect materials and remove contaminants to help ensure high-quality recycled products.
• Safely operate around conveyor systems and recycling equipment while following all company safety procedures.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns to your supervisor.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and promote a culture of safety.
• Follow all company policies, environmental regulations, and operational procedures.
