Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Material Processing Technician to support warehouse and production operations. The role handles material pulls, cutting, identification, and movement of metal bar and pipe per work orders while ensuring quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and written instructions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage raw material for production based on work orders.
• Operate band saws and abrasive saws to cut metal to specification.
• Review production queues and prioritize material processing needs.
• Process and distribute materials to appropriate machines, departments, or shipping areas.
• Debur cut material and prepare products for downstream operations.
• Generate and process barcode tags for inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
• Verify all material is properly identified with alloy, specification, heat number, and size information.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and production records.
• Monitor ASRS operations and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Assist with inventory control and material organization.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and training requirements.
