• Ability to notice inconsistencies/faults in parts, equipment, or production processes to prevent faulty products leaving the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform paint prep using air-powered sandblasting equipment, grinder, needle-guns and other tools.
• Abrade surfaces of metal to remove scale, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt to prepare for paint.
• Inspect items for proper welds and remove weld spatter and burrs with appropriate tools.
• Disassemble and clean paint and sandblasting equipment following proper solvents and methods.
