Mid Atlantic Metals, LLC is seeking an experienced Painter to join our metal fabrication team. You will prep surfaces, apply primers and coatings, operate spray equipment, and ensure a high quality finish on metal products.

Qualifications

• Previous professional painting experience is required.
• Experience painting metal, steel, or fabricated products is required.
• Knowledge of surface preparation, primers, paints, and coatings.
• Experience with spray equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, hardworking, and dependable.
• Ability to safely lift and handle materials as required.
• Must be willing to work in a manufacturing/shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, grinding, and masking.
• Apply primer, paint, and protective coatings to fabricated metal products.
• Operate spray painting equipment and other painting tools.
• Inspect finished work for proper coverage, consistency, and quality.
• Mix and properly apply paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards.
• Work closely with the fabrication team to meet production schedules.
