Metal Mechanic II Overview

The Metal Mechanic II will fabricate, build, and install various types of metal structures and equipment for facility maintenance and installation programs.

Metal Mechanic II Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Metal Mechanic II Physical Demands
  • Prolonged periods of lifting, reaching, and working on scaffolding and overhead structures.
  • Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds frequently.
  • Must have the ability to lift your whole bodyweight while climbing.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, kneel often and walk for long periods.
  • Must be able to tolerate temperature fluctuations, and a dusty/noisy work environment.
