Job summary

Tradesmen International, LLC in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL is hiring experienced Journeyman Framing Carpenters and Drywall Installers for projects in the Ponte Vedra Beach area. This first shift role offers $28-30/hour based on experience and skill.

Responsibilities include metal stud framing for walls and ceilings, drywall hanging and finishing around openings, and following blueprints with precision. You must have your own trade tools and PPE, and a commitment to safety, productivity, and quality

Qualifications

• Experience with metal framing and drywall installation.
• Ability to read blueprints and take accurate measurements.
• Must own necessary trade tools and PPE (boots, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves).

Responsibilities

• Layout and install metal stud framing for walls and ceilings.
• Hang drywall and install around openings and fixtures.
• Follow blueprints and project instructions; ensure walls are true, plumb and square.
• Use levels, lasers, tape measures, and layout tools; perform framing and drywall tasks as needed.

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Framing Carpenters/Drywall Installers for projects located in the Ponte Vedra Beach, FL area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $28-30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Layout build, and install metal stud framing for walls, partitions, and ceilings


• Measure, hang, install, and cut drywall around doors, windows, outlets, and other openings


• Install corner bead and make necessary drywall adjustments


• Use levels, lasers, tape measures, and layout tools to ensure walls are straight, level, and plumb


• Follow blueprints, drawings, and jobsite instructions


• Perform general framing and drywall-related tasks as needed

Requirements

• Previous metal framing and drywall installation experience


• Ability to perform layout and take accurate measurements


• Must have your own tools for the trade


• Must have required PPE, including work boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves
