SWD Inc. is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals for our 3rd shift Metal Finishing team in Addison, IL. This is an entry-level role where you’ll learn how metal parts are processed, inspected, loaded, unloaded, and prepared for delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload metal parts from production lines.
• Pack finished products according to customer requirements.
• Review and follow shop orders.
• Perform visual inspections of finished parts.
• Stage completed work for the next step in production.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Assist with general production and department needs.

About Us:

SWD Inc. opened for business in March 1980 with three employees in a 9,000 sq. ft. leased facility and began black oxiding, cleaning, and pickling operations with used equipment.
