IGS Industries Inc. is a growth-oriented manufacturer of metal components based in Meadowlands, PA.

The General Laborer will join the Metal Finishing & Deburring Department on the Daylight Shift, supporting finishing, deburring, cleaning, and preparation of parts for the next production stage. You will learn metal finishing techniques, quality standards, and how to use basic measuring tools in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or relevant work experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform deburring, grinding, sanding, filing, and other metal finishing processes on manufactured parts.
• Remove burrs and sharp edges from finished components.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Clean and prepare metal parts for subsequent production steps or shipment.
• Visually inspect parts for defects and ensure quality standards.
