Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC, a leading tier-one supplier of high-speed chain drive systems, is seeking a productive shop floor operator in Chicopee, MA. You will operate machines for metal finishing and follow work instructions to ensure quality parts for the production line.

The role requires reading and writing English, 2–5 years of multi-machine experience, and the ability to perform light to moderate physical work. Equal opportunity employer. PM21.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Be able to read and write English
• 2-5 years’ experience running multiple machines, troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance.
• Moderate physical effort consisting of occasional heavy weights.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of machines for metal finishing, i.e., chamfer barrels, polishing machines, spin dryers and shot peen machines.
• Follow work instructions to maintain work flow and produce good parts for the line.
• Follow safety instructions including PPE. Fill out paperwork to accurately track traceability on all parts.
• Work to specifications, schedules, orders and general instructions of department group leader and supervisor.
