Job summary

BorgWarner Turbo Systems LLC is seeking a 2nd shift Metal Finisher/Handler B at Plant 2 (TC) in Ithaca. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, operating metal finishing equipment, and maintaining production reports. Candidates should be able to perform calculations, use gauging tools, and follow safety rules with heavy physical effort.

Experience with material handling and SPC documentation is desired, along with the ability to disassemble/reassemble parts on equipment as required.

Qualifications

• Receive instructions and follow manufacturing specifications.
• Transport material using appropriate equipment (forklifts, carts).
• Use gauging equipment and computer interface panels to monitor work.
• Complete SPC requirements and maintain accurate reports.
• Disassemble/reassemble specific parts on equipment as needed.
• Perform mathematical computations involving decimals.
• Adhere to safety procedures; heavy physical exertion required.
