Maysteel is hiring a Metal Finishing team member in Wisconsin. You’ll set up and operate production and metal finishing equipment, load and unload metal parts, and ensure parts meet quality standards through careful inspection and documentation.

Qualifications

• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Willingness to learn and operate production equipment.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus; training available for the right person.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work on your feet all day; lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate production and metal finishing equipment.
• Load and unload metal parts and move them through the production process.
• Deburr and grind metal to achieve the proper surface finish.
• Read gauges and follow manufacturing instructions, routings, blueprints, and visual aids.
• Inspect parts and ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Identify and communicate equipment or quality issues to leads or management.
• Work independently to complete assigned tasks while meeting quality and production expectations.
• Record production information and use our systems to track your work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
