Express Employment Professionals in PLATTEVILLE, WI is seeking candidates for a hands-on Metal Fabricators/Welders role in the LANCASTER, WI area. Responsibilities include cutting, measuring, reading blueprints, welding (steel, aluminum, steel pipe), and basic electrical wiring on machinery.

Candidates should have welding experience, blueprint-reading skills, and comfort with power tools. 1st shift, emphasis on quality and safety in fabrication and fabrication environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in metal fabrication, welding, or a mechanical trade.
• Ability to read blueprints and measure accurately.
• Skilled with power tools and fabrication equipment.
• Experience MIG/TIG welding on various metals is a plus.
• Basic understanding of machinery electrical wiring.
• Strong attention to detail and safety-minded work habits.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate equipment using cutting, measuring, and layout tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Perform welding on steel, aluminum, and pipe.
• Operate power tools, metal saws, and hot work equipment safely.
• Assist with basic electrical wiring on machinery and equipment.
• Ensure quality and accuracy in fabrication processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
