Job summary

Hitachi Global Air Power US, LLC in Farmington, NM is seeking a Fabricator to manufacture metal components in a fabrication shop, reading engineering blueprints and ensuringquality in finished piping and assemblies.

You will work with stainless steel tubing, screwed pipefitting, and hydrostatic testing, focusing on safety and accuracy. A High School Diploma is required; an Associate's degree is a plus, with 2+ years of oilfield fabrication experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associates Degree a plus.
• Two or more years’ experience fabricating on oilfield related equipment (or similar).
• Able to read, evaluate, and respond to product specifications and drawings; perform normal math calculations.
• Familiar with various machinery; strong general mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings.
• Responsible for screwed pipefitting.
• Bends and fits Stainless Steel tubing from ¼”- 1”.
• Hydrostatic testing of welded piping.
• Assembly of finished welded piping and components.
• Sheeting and insulating of units requiring buildings.
