Job summary

GreenWood, Inc. is seeking a Metal Fabricator/Millwright for a regular full-time, non-exempt role at the Mitsubishi site in Greer, SC. Work is Monday–Thursday, 7:00am–5:30pm, with 40 hours weekly and occasional overtime; travel is not required.

The role fabricates and installs steel and aluminum frames, brackets, stands, carts, and related parts, reading blueprints and lay-out plans to support machinery installation in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of metal fabrication experience.
• Ability to weld various materials.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, drawings, work orders to fabricate parts.
• Fabricate, assemble, install and repair sheet metal products and equipment.
• Set up machines to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal.
• Rig machinery and equipment in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Read blueprints and determine work procedures.
• Inspect final products for quality and adherence to design.
