Job summary

GreenWood, Inc. is seeking a Metal Fabricator/Millwright at the Mitsubishi site in Greer, SC. Regular full-time, non-exempt role with Monday–Thursday, 7:00am–5:30pm schedule and 40 hours plus overtime.

Responsibilities include fabricating frames, brackets, and installing machinery per blueprints. Safety-first culture and strict adherence to procedures are emphasized. Must have at least four years in metal fabrication/millwright work, with strong welding and blueprint-reading skills, and the

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of experience in metal fabrication and millwright work.
• Ability to perform welding.
• Extensive knowledge of structural, sheet metal repairs and modifications.
• Ability to read sketches to fabricate parts.
• Rig machinery to OSHA standards.
• Attention to detail and urgency in work.
• Blueprint reading and interpretation prior to installation.
• Customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, drawings, work orders to fabricate/install parts.
• Fabricate, assemble, install, repair sheet metal products (carbon steel, aluminum, stainless).
• Perform fabrication using carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel.
• Inspect seams and joints; smooth burred surfaces.
• Set up machines to cut, bend, straighten sheet metal.
• Read blueprints/schematics to determine procedures.
• Weld components; assemble with rivets/screws/fasteners.
• Inspect final products for quality and conformance.
